Dr. Saffet Eren K›z›lda¤l› is a doctor who has been an assistant to Ord. Prof. Dr. A. Süheyl Ünver on 1940s and has had valuable researches on history of medicine. Dr. Edip K›z›lda¤l› is a specialist doctor on public health, who has had researches on history of medicine, history and folklore of Antakya. They got married in 1944, worked together in Istanbul, Gazipasa and Silivri until 1951. After 1951, they settled in Altinozu/Hatay and worked there till their death. In this article; Dr. Saffet K›z›lda¤l› and Edip K›z›lda¤l›’s contributions to history of medicine and culture through their lives are aimed to be evaluated. Dr. Safet K›z›lda¤l› and Edip K›z›lda¤l›’s reports have been retrieved from the personal files at their working institutions, family archieves and publications.
